The unit had lost a connection which allowed the unit to be run on battery. One hour's labor and a 67 cents fuse later I paid $78.67 to have the chip fuse replaced. The fuse is a KAB-2402-322NA31. Can anyone show me where this fuse is located and is there another source for an equivalent. I am not concerned about the cost of this first one, but being a ham, I like to be able to keep costs to a minimum when possible. The main thing is the location. I will order a spare from Vertex if necessary. Finally, I was amazed at the turn-around. The unit arrived on a Tuesday and shipped repaired on Thursday! Good service! I do enjoy this group!
