                                   FREE Software for Downloading 

ARCP Software

This is the final release version of the software seen at Dayton '97. Pretty darn cool. On screen control of your rig via a PC serial port
and an ICOM CT-17 level converter. Can be used to control your ICOM via the Internet. Developed by Umbra Systems.

System requirement: 

    Intel® 486 with 8 meg of RAM
    Microsoft® Windows® 95 (will not run using Windows 3.1®)
    Video card with monitor capabilities of 800 x 600 by 16 bit color
    Serial port connected to a CT-17, on its own interrupt

To begin: 

    Read the obligatory read me file. 

    Download the Arcp_Prg.zip ARCP software program (380K). This is required.

Then download any or all of the following: 

    IC-706.zip (594K)

    IC-706MKII.zip(578K)

    IC-756.zip(1MB)

    IC-821H.zip(710K)

Sorry, we have no plans to add any more radios (including the IC-746) at this time. ICOM has its own IC-746 software available for
purchase.

If you'd like to control your radio via the Internet, you'll need: 

    N4USI COMRED protocol program(132K)
