   112px-Left.svg.png (2492 bytes) The most recently received award is here on the left.  It's for the 2008 1st Place Single Operator Phone 10 meter award for Oklahoma.

 112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes) The certificate on the right was for assistance I provided to help provide supplies for folks driven from their homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina when they were brought to Oklahoma.

 112px-Left.svg.png (2492 bytes) Although it came more than a year after the actual contest, I received this award from the ARRL.  It's for the 2011 1st Place Single Operator Mixed Mode 10 meter award for the Oklahoma section.  The attractive certificate is a new design for the ARRL awards and I'm happy to add it to my collection.

My score was high enough for 112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes) this 2007 Sweepstakes that I got, not only the certificate on the left but also a beautiful metal and wooden plaque shown here on the right.

For the year, 2009, I got this certificate for 1st Place Single Operator High Power Phone in the Oklahoma Section.   The contest was the November Sweepstakes Contest  in 2009

In August of 2011, I received a new award for my participation in the IARU contest held in July of 2010.  This certificate shows that I got 1st place in Oklahoma section in the Phone Only category.  During July, the temperature is so hot in Oklahoma that 112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes) about all a ham wants to do is stay inside in the air conditioning and work a contest....... at least that's all I wanted to do.

2007 CQ 160 Meter.jpg (447948 bytes) 112px-Left.svg.png (2492 bytes)   I've been fortunate enough to win several awards for 160 Meter operation from Oklahoma.  If the truth were known, there aren't a lot of participants from around here.  This certificate is for 1st Place Single Operator SSB Low Power in the Oklahoma.   The contest was held in February of 2007. 

Here's the same award the next year -112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes) 2008.  I was also #2 in the 5th call area.

 112px-Left.svg.png (2492 bytes)  Once again I won the award for 160 Meter operation from Oklahoma.  This certificate is for 1st Place Single Operator High Power Phone in the Oklahoma Section.  The contest was the held in February of 2009.  I was also #2 in the 5th call area and, lo and behold, #18 in the whole USA.112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes)

Again I was fortunate to win the award for 160 Meter operation from Oklahoma.  This certificate is for 1st Place Single Operator High Power Phone in the Oklahoma Section.  The contest was held in February of 2010 and  I also got #8 in the 5th call area.

 112px-Left.svg.png (2492 bytes)  In December of 2011, I received this certificate for the CQ 160 Meter DX Contest that had been held in February of 2011.  I got 1st place Single Operator for High Power SSB in Okla.  I also ranked #7 in the 5th call area.  I sure that when enough locals put up 160 meter antennas, I will go, again, to the end of the line.

112px-Right.svg.png (2307 bytes)For the February 2012 160 meter contest, I didn't make quite as many points as last year but it was enough to again make 1st place Single Operator for High Power SSB in Okla.  I also ranked #7 in the 5th call area and this was the same place I ranked last year.  It's a fun contest and too bad more don't participate, but then I'm sure I wouldn't do as well so I'm happy.
